As a Line Cook, your day-to-day will involve:

You’ll start your day by reviewing the menu and preparing your workstation with the necessary ingredients and equipment to ensure an efficient workflow. Your primary responsibility will be to execute dishes according to the chef’s specifications, ensuring that each plate is prepared with precision, consistency, and attention to detail. You’ll also work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are served promptly and maintain high-quality standards.

Throughout the day, you will monitor the cleanliness and organization of your station, making sure that all health and safety guidelines are met. You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes, from appetizers to entrees, ensuring that each dish is executed with excellence and presented beautifully. Whether you’re grilling, sautéing, or prepping ingredients, your focus will be on delivering a flawless dining experience for guests.

In addition to daily tasks, you will also contribute to the kitchen’s overall success by assisting in inventory checks, suggesting new ideas for improving kitchen operations, and helping to refine the menu. You’ll collaborate with the sous chef and executive chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, from preparation to plating, even during high-volume service periods. Additionally, you will contribute your culinary skills to maintain the kitchen’s standards of creativity, responsibility, and passion.
