About the Role - Expansion Analyst and Real Estate Business Developer
As an Expansion Analyst and Real Estate Business Developer at Yurbban Hospitality Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and evaluating new growth opportunities in the national market (USA). You will not only assess investment potential across different locations but will also be integral in supporting the group’s strategic decision-making. Through comprehensive studies and detailed financial models, you’ll assist our team in understanding each project’s viability and profitability, contributing directly to the success of our expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Development team throughout the project management process, from identifying opportunities to final closure, including offer creation, negotiation, and signing.
- Coordinate offers and manage projects, ensuring successful handling of each opportunity.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing, new, and potential clients, fostering long-term connections based on mutual trust and aligned with our business strategy.
- Provide post-signature support, ensuring ongoing relationship development with clients and team coordination in line with long-term business objectives.
- Prepare content and support documentation for business development and investment initiatives in accordance with company standards.
- Represent the company at industry events, aiming to build strategic networks to generate new business opportunities.
- Stay updated on the latest in the real estate and hospitality sectors to understand competition, market activity, and trends.
- Analyze hotel investment opportunities for various group brands in key markets (IBERIA, USA, LATAM).
- Conduct destination and area studies to understand market behavior and evaluate asset performance.
- Continuously develop and enhance financial models, including calculation tools and projections for investment decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze investments, measuring performance and suggesting adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members in identifying, assessing, and negotiating investment and expansion opportunities.
- Manage internal information to evaluate both the company’s current performance and the potential of assets under review.
- Assess and propose various hotel investment and expansion strategies.
- Build and maintain a network within the hospitality sector, capital markets, and/or real estate investments to uncover new opportunities.
- Provide periodic reports required by the Business Development leadership.
- Keep databases and tools up-to-date, ensuring all sales documentation and support materials are current.
What Are We Looking for in You?

Technical Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in expansion analysis, hotel/financial consulting, investment banking, real estate development, or similar roles in the hospitality or real estate sectors.

Growth Mindset: Interested in expanding responsibilities to handle projects and negotiations independently in the near term, gradually taking on more responsibility and developing your professional skills.

Problem-Solving: Ability to act quickly and propose creative, effective solutions to expansion challenges.

Flexibility: Availability to travel and manage expansion projects in diverse locations.

Teamwork: Ability to coordinate effectively with other departments to manage or execute expansion projects efficiently.

Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to build complex financial models.

Tech Savvy: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, familiar with CRM tools, and interested in incorporating AI, automation, and calculations into presentations.

Results-Oriented: Capable of handling a high volume of projects across different geographies and meeting deadlines.

Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Spanish, spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar field. A Master’s in Business or Real Estate Investment is a plus.
